Females ofvoronezh – A Narrative Review
“Memories of Velvet Roof” is the third novel I read by simply Anna Puck. This time, Some have to seek for a female belief on this narrative because it was clearly created for a men perspective. My spouse and i liked the descriptions of Vorkovia, particularly its cobbled streets and the knowledge that a lot of people have brides-ru.net/cities/voronezh-women come to understand it as a city in transition. Puck’s character, Alexey, was interesting, funny and realistic; and I adored her decision to write about the place but not focus on the life span of Alexey alone.
The story starts with Alexey, now settled in Vorkovia, doing work as a rider for a bus service. A girl he attained in school, Olga, calls him one day and invites him to meet her for the afternoon meal. After a quick and delicious lunchtime, the two get to know each other better and exchange gifts. Things improvement from there, till a girl requires Alexey to be her partner, and they both go to a prom together.
The setting up of this narrative is very pleasant. This starts out inside the typical urban areas of Vorkovia near St . Petersburg. That they walk a few blocks to a new building constructed in an ancient community center and your time rest of the evening enjoying the sights, scents, and thoughts of the city. The next morning, as Anna is definitely leaving, your lover spots some sort of commotion with the entrance for the park that catches her attention.
A desolate vagabond can be living in the park. Anna approaches the homeless vagabond and requests him as to why he features chosen to inhabit that particular location. He tells her the fact that the girl he lives with, Olga, uses her benefits to shell out intended for food, lodgings and her daily driver back and forth to school. In return, the vagabond will not let Olga use his benefits, which include helping out with the desolate shelter.
Anna decides to visit Olga and confirms her speaking with some other girl. The 2 main girls are preparing to join the “Free Movement” which usually aims to bring attention to the conditions in the country’s slums. Meanwhile, the “Free Movement” is assembly in a playground for what they will call “concerts”. None of the women know that the concert can be organized simply by Anna’s neighbor.
In the morning, Anna makes a decision to investigate the “concert hall”. While she actually is inside, your woman meets Marina, a middle-aged woman so, who lives on a nearby street. The two women strike up a conversation and find out that the live concert hall is being used to be a stash level for very much against the law money. Armed with this information, Anna goes to the police and accounts your situation. The respective authorities are interested in choosing the owner of your property and place out to question Olga.
